From Leah Garchick's column in the SF Chronicle:

"Arise ye Deadheads. Friends of Jerry Garcia are trying to raise 300 donations of $25 or more by Aug. 2 for Jerry Day, an all-afternoon concert at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park that day. More information is at http://www.jerryday.org."

I went to Jerry Day in 07 and it was just awesome. Met a really nice couple on the bus on the way out there. We ended up hanging out during the show and he hooked me up with magical brownies and had me roll fat spliffs of his AK47 the whole afternoon :)
